LCS has been in business since 2016 and since then has played a vital role in the local temperature sensitive food supply and distribution chain.Our MissionLucifer Cold Storage's (LCS) mission is to provide freezer and cold storage facilities and services to a wide range of customers in the food-distribution industry through technical expertise ensuring temperature settings are carefully monitored and adjusted to ensure optimum storage conditions for temperature sensitive items.Our ValuesIn conjunction with our key partner, Piu Che Dolci Imports Inc., our values are as follows:Relationships First: We build professional, open, fair, and respectful connections that drive mutual success.High-Quality Matters: We source unique, high-quality products that deliver true value.Data & Collaboration: We use data to inform, align, and make impactful decisions together.Bold Innovation: We learn, adapt, and grow, embracing challenges as paths to success.Clear Accountability: Decisions are purposeful, with clarity in ownership and full team support.The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to be part of a growing company that serves a vital role in the cold / frozen storage area of the food supply / distribution chain.<ul><li>Managing a warehouse team in daily workflow and logistics processes associated with a frozen / cold storage facility.</li><li>Meets daily demands of warehouse operations from the receipt of products, storage, and distribution to customers.</li><li>Trains new workers in job duties.</li><li>Cross-trains workers to ensure operational flexibility.</li><li>Trains all workers in safety policies.</li><li>Attends company and departmental meetings as scheduled.</li><li>Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety/OSHA regulations.</li><li>Completes supervisory reports for work related accidents.</li><li>Analyzes and resolves work/employee problems.</li><li>Recommends and presents personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.</li><li>Has a focus on continuous improvement related to current standards.</li><li>Prepares annual employee performance reviews.</li><li>Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by following policies and procedures.</li><li>Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.</li><li>Maintains physical condition of warehouse</li><li>Oversee the daily inspections of the warehouse equipment reports.</li><li>Follows and maintains transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency.</li><li>Will play a role in the implementation of Microsoft Business Central BC by representing the need and business requirements of the warehouse function.</li></ul>What you bring:<ul><li>A passion for being part of a growing enterprise and for going beyond a standard job description to enable a company to grow by focusing on mission, vision and values.</li><li>Experience managing a team of warehouse workers with varying degrees of tenure.</li><li>Keen eye for safety within the facility with an ability to identify, address, and escalate safety-related issues.</li><li>An ability to identify areas where additional training is require
